Teaching

Guy is a skilled and experienced teacher on saxophone, clarinet, flute and oboe. As well as teaching privately, he currently works as a visiting instrumental tutor at Radley College and St Marylebone School, and has broad experience working at primary and secondary schools, music services and outreach organisations such as Live Music Now.

He teaches students of all ages and abilities, regularly working with complete beginners up to grade 8+ and conservatoire level. Students can draw on rich performing and teaching experience, developing a secure technical and musical foundation, an instinctive understanding of a wide range of styles and a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. Past students have gone on to study music in higher education, have been accepted into specialist music schools and national age group ensembles.
